asked by: a guest I'm looking the screw and nut to "close" the chain. Do you sell these parts?
A.
anwered by: smulder I'm sorry, currently we do not have a supplier that stocks that item. While we wish we could help you on that one you may want to check Ben's Cycle for "IZUMI Model-V / ESH Machine Screw and Nut"

This chain is awesome it looks fantastic on almost all bikes, super durable, super strong and the screw connecter is strong but I prefer to pin it, looks cleaner and I feel more secure because track racing and fixed gears put alot of strain on a chain. A chain break is the last thing you want worry about. I am 100% positive I wont have to worry about that with this chain!
Summed up: This chain is golden!!! As in very very good.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

I really like this chain. It is strong, easy to clean, and reliable.
I have never had a problem with the screw connector. Re-pinning it, on the other hand, is no fun, so I stick with the screw. If you tighten it properly and clean/check your chain regularly, you shouldn't have any issues with the connector coming apart and you shouldn't need locktite.
It's not particularly quiet, but then it's a 1/8th inch chain---half the fun is the sound.
It is a good chain. The screw for connecting links is not appropriate for normal riding on the trail.
It lasted about 7000 km in my full suspension bike equiped with Rohloff speedhub.
Great Chain for a track bike, only ridden it a few times, but a chain is something you want to set and forget. After breaking an different style chain I listened to everyone and went with the best. So far not a bad choice.
