jgreenodThis is my return to wool shorts, I was using high end pearl izumi, good, but temp regulation could not compare to my wool tops. I ride long days, touring and randonneur style rides, merino shorts and tops can't be beat. I would rate these shorts perfect, we'll see how they wear. Jerry

JessePeltonI haven't had a pair of wool shorts for 25 years and was thrilled to find these. Wool's temperature control is wonderful, making it suitable for long days in the saddle that start chilly and end hot. Merino is much less scratchy than the wool of other sheep, and Ibex processes it to make it completely comfortable.
Two notes, neither good nor bad:
- These shorts run a little small. I wear a medium in most shorts, but found the large Ibex to be a better fit. If you're in doubt, consider ordering two sizes and returning what doesn't work.
- The shorts are not completely wool. There's a Lycra panel down the backside - maybe 20% of the total fabric.

A GuestI love my Ibex wool cycling shorts. They fit better than any shorts that I have. They are very comfortable and breathe better even on the hottest days.

A GuestI am extremely pleased with these quality Ibex Duo wool cycling shorts. The materials and construction are superb. The chamois is far more comfortable than that in my polypro cycling shorts. And nothing beats wool for all around comfort. If my experience with other wool products is any indicator, they should last. Also, I have used other Ibex products before and the company is very customer friendly; in fact it is one of the best. The only drawback for me is the fit. The shorts have a bit too much rise for me but I can work around that. I looked long and hard before choosing a pair of replacement shorts. For my purposes there is nothing better than these Ibex Duo cycling wool shorts.

markfishlerGreat shorts, they run a little on the long side which I like. Nothing beats wool even if they are pricey

A GuestOnly had a short time, but the fit and comfort of them is spot-on. The more wool I wear, the more I prefer it over synthetic materials.

A GuestThese are the most comfortable cycling shorts I have ever owned. The wool is breathable and comfortable even on sunny, humid, 90 degree days. The pad used is very comfortable and doesn't give you the diaper butt look (the padding is segmented to fit more smoothly).

mbarnesWool = comfort, at least as far as cycling shorts go. Highly recommended.

A GuestI love merino wool and have many pieces of outdoor clothing made from it. The Ibex bike shorts in turn were not disappointing. They are so comfortable. They are warm when it is cool but not too hot when it is warm. I have trouble using my old spandex shorts now.

A GuestI ordered these shorts as a gift for my husband. This is his first pair of wool cycling shorts, and he is really pleased with them. Somewhat longer length for the thighs is nice especially for cooler rides.
