MegaNorris Sandwich has two different compound layers; soft and hard. Hard layer sits right on the rim, preventing the hardest of impacts. Softer compound smooths the small impacts, working as an additional suspension member. The Sandwich is meant to be used on rough trails and enduro riding.
Installation of MegaNorris is as simple as any tubeless setup, just slip the insert in before installing the second bead on the rim
Ride safely with an optimal tire pressure. Not too high or not too low

I bought both the Toast and the Sandwich.
The Toasts went in pretty easy in Maxxis Rekons WT 2.6/F 2.4R on Nox 29mm rims. A little noise at first then insert settled. Tires spin true.
The Sandwiches are another story. Tried to use in Continental Kryptotals front and rear on We Are One Union rims. These tires are slightly tighter/harder to mount by hand than Maxxis. The Sandwich are thicker and stiffer than the Toast so makes mounting harder. I ruined 2 rear Kryptotals using tire levers to get the tire on. Severe wobble. Insert just takes up too much space to mount by hand.
Then tried Maxxis Assegai 2.5 WT which I easily mount by hand. With insert I needed lever for last section. That said the insert makes noise in the tire and causes the tire to wobble. Let out pressure, rolled it around, reinflated, same problem. Tried it again, still wobble and noise. Took the insert out, wobble gone.
So I like the Toast. Sandwich not so much. I guess depends on your tire/rim combo. Perhaps the Maxxis WT casing shape makes the diff. Will be getting another set of Toasts. I am not that hard on rims and Toast will be good enough protection.
