Compared to the Pro4, the Pro5 delivers lower drag and higher efficiency thanks to a new zero-drag labyrinth seal and refined ratchet-and-pawl system. The updated springs and internals boost load capacity and long-term reliability—ideal for riders who push their gear hard through mud, grit, and rain.

The heart of the hub is its offset 6-pawl freehub design, engaging three pawls at a time for a crisp and immediate 108 points of engagement. That means faster power transfer when tackling technical climbs or accelerating out of corners, without sacrificing the smooth, free-running feel that Hope hubs are known for.
