Great all-around tire for a mix of on- and off-road use. Much faster on pavement than a full-knobby tire. Even works for winter use on paved trails with moderate snow cover==not an ice tire, though. Light weight, bargain price.

I tend to take my MTB on the streets as well as paved trails and the knobby tires that were on it was not as comfortable or as efficient as I would have liked. These Kenda K847's did the trick for me. Nice, smooth and efficient on the streets- but still serviceable should I ever ride in an area less forgiving. Very happy with this purchase and Tree Fort Bikes service and price.
