Fox MY27 Float X Factory Rear Shock is a performance-focused air rear shock built for modern all-mountain and trail bikes that demand consistent damping on long descents and efficient support on the way back up. Its piggyback reservoir and pressure-balanced monotube design help maintain control when the shock is working hard, while the Factory Series Kashima coating reduces friction for smoother small-bump sensitivity and more consistent feel through the travel.

Tuning range is broad and practical: a 2-position firm mode switch adds on-demand efficiency, while independent low-speed compression and rebound adjusters make it easy to match the shock to rider weight, leverage curve, and terrain. The large EVOL air chamber supports lower operating pressures and a wider window of setup options, with a stated maximum of 350 psi. Updated top-out and bottom-out bumpers further refine feel at the ends of travel for better composure under repeated hits.
