Finish Line, a leader in bicycle care products now offers a tubeless tire sealant, that unlike most of the other tubeless tire sealants on the market does not dry out or need to be refreshed as long as the tire remains mounted. Finish Line's proprietary Fiberlink sealant material is reinforced with Dupont Kevlar. Unlike other tubeless tire sealants that have a sealing material that settles out and clumps together at the bottom of the bottle, FiberLink remains suspended permanently in solution and does not require shaking.
Should a puncture happen, Finish Line Tubeless Tire Sealant will seal holes up to 1/4" in diameter. As you ride the bike and the tire flexes, FiberLink mesh reinforces itself and actually becomes stronger instead of weaker.
The chemists at Finish Line designed their tubeless tire sealant to be as user-friendly as possible by being latex and ammonia free, hypoallergenic, and non-toxic. The ammonia in some other tubeless tire sealants can cause corrosion issues when used with certain rims and rim finishes. Finish Line Tubeless Tire Sealant is fully water soluble and because it does not cure, there is no need to spend a bunch of time scrubbing dried sealant off of your rims or tires.
If you are wanting to use Finish Line Tubeless Tire Sealant in your fat bike tires, Finish Line rates this tubeless tire sealant to work in temperatures as cold as -10deg F. While this should work for most riders, should you need a tubeless tire sealant with a more extreme temperature rating, we recommend Orange Seal Sub Zero.
