For a single speed fixed gear, what size bottom bracket would you recommend?
A.
anwered by: canteau
113mm bottom bracket should give you a 45mm chainline.

What size/kind of chainring bolts are needed? Thanks!
A.
anwered by: jackivey
I guess if you are going to put a single chainring on the 110bcd part then use a single speed specific bolt such as 333222395928 or if you are going to two chainrings on the larger bcd arms use something like 33322234690026141. thanks!

Hey I am thinking of getting these cranks for my gravel bike with a 46/30 setup or 48/32 t ish. Could I use a stronglight 110 BCD 46 t and a 30 tooth middle chain ring from a tripple chainset as long as the BCD is 74 or will this not work?
A.
anwered by: jackivey
That should work just fine.

I want to attach only the Sora 30t 74mm chainring to this crank. Is it possible?
A.
anwered by: canteau
It should work, the inner chainring (74mm) attaches directly to the crankarm. Visually you would have the tabs from the 110mm outer chainrings "sticking out".
For single chainring applications, you will get less chain drop by using a 30t 74mm chainring that is designed for single speed use.

Are crankarms compatible with 9 speed triple drivetrains with a 110mm bb spindle length?
A.
anwered by: canteau
The Dimension crank arms will work with most standard 110BCD chainrings which will determine the drivetrain speed they will work with.
For most double setups you will want to use a 108mm bottom bracket but that can change slightly depending on the chainrings and the frame they are used on.

Will this fit on a mountain bike without hitting the chain stays?
A.
anwered by: smulder
I don't see any reason this wouldn't work with the longer of the tow suggested spindle lengths.

Can this take a 74mm bcd chainring?
A.
anwered by: kdc1956
Yes it can. That's why it is called a triple crank arm. 110mm,74mm
And yes I have it on my Nashbar touring bicycle that I built my self. And it is the 170mm.And now I am building a Big Dummy and need one in the 175mm.This is the same crank that come on the Surly LHT.The name on the back side will be different and the numbers on back will match the crank arm on the LHT crank. It is a very good crank the Bottom Bracket you use will be different for each bicycle but is easy to do or it has been to my self.
