XM481 29" Tubeless-Ready Disc Mountain Rim

The DT Swiss XM481 uses the most advanced shape and materials of any DT Swiss alloy mountain rim. XM481 rims are designed for large volume tires with a 30mm internal width and features a minimal hook design for better compatibility with tubeless ready tires.  If you are going to use the DT Swiss XM481 rim tubeless you will need DT Swiss 32mm Tubeless Tape and a DT Swiss wide base tubeless valve.

When building the DT Swiss XM481 rim you must use the included Pro Head Squorx Nipples and PHR Washers. DT Swiss calculates the XM481 ERD of 601mm with the washers in place. Instructions for installing the Squorx nipples and PHR washers can be found here. You will also need a DT Swiss Squorx nipple wrench for building and servicing of these rims/wheels.
