XM421 27.5 Tubeless-Ready Disc Mountain Rim

The DT Swiss XM421 is a lightweight 27.5 rim with a 25mm internal width that is ideally suited for trail tires in the 2.25-2.5" range and will work with tires up to 2.6" wide.  If you are going to use the DT Swiss XM421 rim tubeless you will need DT Swiss 27mm Tubeless Tape and a DT Swiss wide base tubeless valve.

When building the DT Swiss XM421 rim you must use the included Pro Head Squorx Nipples and PHR Washers. DT Swiss calculates the XM421 ERD of 562mm with the washers in place. Instructions for installing the Squorx nipples and PHR washers can be found here. You will also need a DT Swiss Squorx nipple wrench for building and servicing of these rims/wheels.
