XM 551 27.5+ Tubeless-Ready Disc Mountain Rim

The DT Swiss XM551 is a lightweight 27.5plus rim with a 40mm internal width for compatibility with tires up to 3.0" in width.  If you are going to use the DT Swiss XM551 rim tubeless you will need DT Swiss 42mm Tubeless Tape and a DT Swiss wide base tubeless valve.

When building the DT Swiss XM551 rim you must use the included Pro Head Squorx Nipples and PHR Washers. DT Swiss calculates the XM551 ERD of 564mm with the washers in place. Instructions for installing the Squorx nipples and PHR washers can be found here. You will also need a DT Swiss Squorx nipple wrench for building and servicing of these rims/wheels.
