Since I use a front and rear wheel on my Cervelo, I am reviewing the set, not just the back wheel. They accelerate quickly, make it easier to hold a high speed and use a harder gear. They ride smoothly. I am not sure about a break in period for ceramic hubs, but the hubs seem to be getting faster. Maybe I am just getting more excited about having them. I think this may be the best wheel set for me. I am 62 years old and what works best for the pros doesn’t necessarily work best for me. I had trouble getting my Williams system 50s to sing. In fact my Williams system 30s may have actually been faster for me. If you don’t want to shell out the money for DT Swiss 1250s, I would highly recommend the Williams wheels. But, I spend around $2,000 on 3 wheel sets. I should have bought the DT Swiss set to start with. So, at this point, I am very happy with my purchase.
