The DT Swiss R500 is a budget-friendly tubeless ready 700c rim that can be used with road plus, cross, and gravel bikes. At 22mm the internal width of the R500 is best suited with 700x28-47mm tires. DT Swiss balances strength and weight of the R500 rim by using their exclusive alloy blend, unique profile and reinforce stainless spoke eyelets.
DT Swiss R500 rims are compatible with tubeless ready tires but do not include valves or tubeless tape. DT Swiss recommends their wide base 32mm tubeless valve and 23mm tubeless tape.
