DT Swiss 240 DEG 90 DF XD Slim Boost Rear Hub is a high-end trail and enduro rear hub built around DT Swiss’ DEG high-engagement ratchet system for fast, consistent power pickup under real load. With simultaneous ratchet engagement (rather than individual pawls), it spreads torque across a broad contact area for balanced load distribution and long-term reliability—especially when riding technical terrain where engagement and durability matter.

Designed around DF (Degrees of Freedom) tuning, this hub lets riders adjust the system’s angular behavior to help manage drivetrain feedback and pedal kickback without adding weight or service complexity.
