I am not the most mechanically inclined cyclist out there so I was hesitant when I purchased the rebuild kit. But it was super easy to do and inexpensive (compared to buying new pedals or having the shop take care of it). Very please with the product.

This kit makes it pretty easy to freshen up those tired pedals, which I'd HIGHLY recommend since failing to do so typically results in the plastic bushing eventually failing and the pedal separating from the spindle (I've had 2 such failures). You do need to make sure that the hole where the dust cap goes is round and smooth before trying to replace the cap. Otherwise, the washer will get pinched and you won't get a good seal.

This kit avoided me to buy a new pair of pedals. Changing the various parts was pretty easy. Change the cleats on your shoes as the same time, everything feels as new then.
