If you have the Mallet's with numbers after them (such as the Mallet 3) then this kit will not work.
If you have the Mallet's with numbers after them (such as the Mallet 3) then this kit will not work.

This kit only works for 2nd generation mallet pedals. The original mallets do not have an inboard needle bearing. Instead they use a plastic bushing which is not included in this rebuild kit. the rubber gasket is also different on the earlier generation mallets.
