Sprinter 700 x 22c Tubular
Its function is in its name. The Sprinter is a fast tire for the shorter road events like criteriums. With a nylon puncture protection breaker it is now even more reliable without losing its terrific rolling qualities. Its flexible casing and the anti-skidding rubber mixture keeps the contact even in fast 90 degree bends. With its low weight and good acceleration, it is most definitely the fastest tire in the last 400 metres.
Now with Black Chili Compound for better grip and durability!

mrfetiThis being the first tubie I've ever used take my review for what it's worth. I was nervous using tubular tires for fear that they would flat easily. The Continental Sprinter put my nerves to rest... at least when using this tubular. I got these from Treefort because they were much cheaper than any other tubular out there. Again, this being my first tubular tire experience, take my review for what it's worth. I managed to put about 250 miles on these tires over various riding surfaces (pavement, dirt... gravel) without much of an issue. The tires still look new which is surprising for how sticky and soft they are. I did like how fast they rolled and how they seemed to stick when cornering. I had a couple issues with the tire, one of which might not be an issue if you're not using valve extenders. My issue with the valve is that I have these tires mounted to a set of Easton 90 Aero wheels. After the 200 or so miles that I put on them the valve seemed to have vibrated closed but in doing so also let some air out. Maybe not much of an issue if you don't need the valve extenders, but if you do, just beware that you'll have to unmount the tire (a pain in the a$$ when they're glued on) and then reglue them... not a quick and easy task. My second complaint with this tire was the wheel hop that I admittedly read about in other reviews before I bought them. I noticed that after about 30-45 minutes of riding (I assume it was the tire warming up) that the wheel hop would go away (on warmer days), but still a little annoying... unless you enjoy riding horses; you may kind of enjoy it.
That being said, for the price I think this is a good tire that you'll get a lot more miles out of than what you'd expect.
