Challenge Almanzo Tires. The Challenge Almanzo was designed with the classic gravel grinder in mind. It crosses the line between road and Cyclocross tires to provide the performance and comfort needed for long gravel/dirt road rides.
- 260tpi reinforced polyester casing for excellent moisture resistance and durability
- File tread pattern provides excellent grip with a wider, more forgiving profile for those bumpy roads
- Tread is hand-glued onto an inflated tire body; this process yields a neutral state for the tread when the tire is in use and eliminate tread deformities at full-inflation

Very disappointed with these. 3 different tires, apparently from 2 different lots, showed significant multifocal tread delamination after a single ride. Really a shame because they rode very nicely.
On the plus side, tree fort was a pleasure to deal with over this problem. My favorite online shop by a mile!
