hahooperHad it installed for about a month. So far, so good. I don't mind the wires, though they aren't the prettiest. The one-click cycle makes finding the right measure fairly easy.

abarnoskyIt works exactly as advertised. No frills, just accurate information about your speed, time, and distance. The wire is what bugs me, no wired computers ever really fit as well as a wireless. The wire always comes loose over time no matter how tight you wrap it, you run the risk of it getting tugged, and it looks really ugly. Functionality is great, but I would suggest the Strada Wireless over this one just because of the reasons listed above.

jim...@ma...c.comI ride about 160 miles per week on a 11' Giant TCR Composite road bike. This bike computer is everything it is advertised to be and you really can't ask for more for the low price you pay. I wanted to have a better understanding of my candace during rides so I thought I would give this computer a try. Installation was simple but time consuming. I would probably buy the double wireless version in retrospect due to the annoyance of installation and the bad look of zip ties and wires. But that is true of any wired computer. I started off with a candace in the mid 80s and now that I have been training to keep my cadence up for about 800 miles I naturally fall between 95 to 102. I must say running a higher candace at first feels wrong but now that I have worked on it I am riding faster than ever and am hardly winded during an 18 mile commuting ride averaging over 19 mph for the whole trip including slowing and stopping for traffic, lights and trains. (21- 25 mph on open road) I have found the cadence read out to be almost like a tachometer in a car...it tells me when to shift gears and keeps me from cheating for short term speed gain in too high of a gear or losing power in too low of a gear. If your significant other keeps a close eye on how much you spend on biking gear...you cannot go wrong with this computer for the price!

bobfriedRunning the wiring is a pain. Ditto what the previous reviewer said about the wiring. I had a Strada Wireless previously but it didn't have cadence. I like it better. The cadence stopped working after about a year and 5000 miles.
