Cane Creek's all new 40 series of headsets are a great blend of performance, durability and value. The cane Creek 40.ZS49 Complete 1-1/8" Zero Stack Conversion Headset is a 1-1/8" zero stack threadless headset designed to fit frames with a 49.61mm toptube inner diameter.
With a 16mm stack height, it is designed for forks with straight 1-1/8" steer tubes. It comes with black oxide sealed bearings, a steel crown race, and is made of internally relieved 6061 aluminum. A workhorse at a great price, try it today.

The CaneCreek ZS49 headset has an OD of 49.7mm and could damage the headset and possibly the headtube of your Cannondale if you try to install it.

The FSA ZS-3 comes in a bunch of different sizes. You would want to pull the old headset out and measure the headtube. If the ID of the headtube is 49mm, then this headset will work.

It is not. You need depending on the year of the bike either a 1.5 to 1-1/8 or a Headshok reducer such as the Woodman.
