You will need to remove the stock headset on your 2021 Trek Marlin 5 and measure the ID of the frame. If your frame measures 44mm this headset will work if the fork is not tapered.

Cane Creek lists this frame as having a ZS44 headset, which is what this headset is. We are not a Scott dealer so it is not a bad idea to measure the headtube to see if it is 44mm before ordering.

The Jet 9 uses a tapered head tube, so the top is 1-1/8 and the bottom is 1.5, so this headset will not work.
