anwered by: canteau If you have a crank that uses the Campy/ISO taper and requires a 111mm spindle. Most crank manufacturers are going to recommend a specific spindle length for their cranks to get the desired chainline.

Chorus level square-taper with a spindle long enough for the cheaper athena, veloce, and centaur cranksets. I've never had one of these fail, and I've killed my share of bottom brackets. Worth the upgrade over veloce or the cheaper off brands.
