anwered by: a guest Have had good results tubless with stans on 21mm internal Mavic rim. Mounted up easily and performs a little better than with a tube.

You really can't go wrong with these tires. I have ridden several other "high end" tires over the years and these perform as good or better. And for the price it's a no brainer decision. I did a lot of research prior to buying and I admit I was skeptical because of the low price, thinking that you get what you pay for, but I haven't found anything to complain about with these tires. I've been riding them in all kinds of conditions and they handle well in everything. If you opt for more expensive tires because you're a bike snob I feel bad for you because you're wasting money.
A perfect "beater" tire. Very heavy, but with that weight comes something that's relatively bombproof and $$cheap. Wears very well also. An excellent snow tire. I can use these as low as 20 psi with tubes and they don't flat on central PA rocks...very weird, time and again I hit the rim and have been expecting a flat, but they keep rolling. I commute on pavement with these daily and they don't seem to wear much. $13? THat's crazy...I hope the little kids in China that make these can eat.
After reading other reviews on these, decided to try 'em. They are well worth it! Northern Michigan's rolling hills, loose sand, wet leaves on rock, these bit right in and I have yet to not make a climb yet. Running at 25psi and I am about 165 and these are awesome. Definitely worth a ride off road. However, I will NOT run these on pavement, these are off-road only.
