How do you determine size? Sizing the Bar Mitts is based more on girth than hand size. The difference from small to medium is about 1" around the opening where you slide your hands in and out. Medium to large is another 1" larger. If your tall but thin, I would lean towards a small to medium. If you are thick and husky, I would suggest a medium to large.

DalisonI wish I could give this product a better review. The product looks like it would work well and the "mitts" are very well constructed. The problem I had was in the sizing. Based on everything I read I should be going with the Medium size. I'm 5'11" and 174lbs. I wear medium gloves and based on all this, medium was the right size.
The problem was when I tried to put these on my bike, a Surly Cross Check. The handle bars came from a 2009 Specialized Allez with 105 components. Once installed the fit was so tight the brakes would be slightly depressed. This also meant that shifting gears was a bit clumsy. I should have gone with the large.
Fortunately I am getting my daughter into cycling and I think these may work for her. Make sure you go with a size larger than you think you may need!
