asked by: a guest Any chance this rack would fit on an XS 2017 Salsa Fargo. Regular steel frame not the titanium. If not is there any other non-Salsa rear rack that would work on a XS 2017 Fargo? Thanks!
A.
anwered by: canteau The Salsa Fargo requires the Salsa Alternator rack because of the unique way the rack mounts to the frame at the upper Alternator plate mount.
The threaded eyelets on the Alternator plates that look like a normal rack eyelet are not rated for rack weight and are designed to be used with fenders only.

asked by: a guest Hello. How well will this fit an XS 2016 Surly Ice Cream Truck? Sometimes getting racks to fit an extra small frame can be an issue.
A.
anwered by: canteau The Surly Disc Wide Rear Rack would be the best fit for any size Surly Wednesday. The issue you might run into is the clearance of the saddle to the rack.

asked by: mbl...@....net Will rack fit on 2016 SE F@E (without rack eyelets) and disc brakes?
A.
anwered by: canteau If the bike uses a quick release it might depending on the shape of the dropout, you may also need to fit a longer skewer to accommodate the rack feet if you are trying to mount it to the dropouts. A seatpost mounted rack might be a better option.

asked by: a guest Will this rack hold a Mongoose Dolomite Fat Tire bike?
A.
anwered by: canteau It doesn't look like the Mongoose Dolomite has rack mounts from the photos of the bike shown online. Sometimes the actual bike has them, but the are Photoshopped out in the catalog like the valve stems for a cleaner look. If the bike has rack mounts it should work, if not a seatpost mounted rack might be your best option.

asked by: a guest Will this rack fit a Charge Cooker fat bike?
A.
anwered by: canteau The current Charge Cooker Maxi includes rack mounts so it should be compatible. If you have an older model, you will want to double check that it has braze-ons for a rack. If it does you should be good to go.

asked by: a guest Will this rack fit the Raleigh Rumson
A.
anwered by: canteau Raleigh's photos of the Rumson do not show rack mounts which may be reality or an over zealous photoshop artist. If it does have rack mounts you should be good to go if not it won't work.

anwered by: canteau From the photos it does not look like the Mongoose Beast includes rack mounts for the Axiom Fatliner rack to mount to. A seatpost mount rear rack might be your best option.

asked by: a guest Will this rack fit the Specialized Fatboy Expert fat bike?
A.
anwered by: canteau Judging by the photos on Specialized website, it looks like the alloy frame FatBoy models have rack mounts which should work fine with this rack.
The carbon frame does not appear to have rack mounts, but that might be a result of Photoshop. If the photos are accurate you will not be able to run this rack on carbon frames.

asked by: a guest Will this fit a Fuji Wendigo 1.1?
A.
anwered by: canteau The photos on Fuji's website make the Wendigo 1.1 appear to not have rack mounts, if this is the case you may not be able to run the Fatliner rear rack.
If the bike has rack mounts and they have just been Photoshopped out of the product image you should be good to go!

anwered by: canteau The Axiom Fatliner is designed to fit bikes with a symmetrical rear spacing of 170/190mm wide. The Surly Pugsley bottom rack mounts are spaced like a traditional 135mm mountain bike and not like a newer fatbike such as the Wednesday.
You would need to come up with some sort of spacers to fit the Fatliner rack to your Pugsley, so it will not be a stock fit.
Surly does have a write up on putting racks on Pugsley or Moonlander fatbikes which can be found here:
