MTB Disc Single Speed 29er Wheelset

American Classic is recognizing the need for singlespeed specific wheels, and the MTB SS focus on drivetrain efficiency and mechanical simplicity. The standard cassette lockring allows you to run up to 5 gears from a Shimano/SRAM cassette to give you multiple gearing options.  The 26mm wide rims utilize bead barb technology to hook the tire bead, giving you a secure tubeless ready rim. Ultra-light at only 1600g for both front and rear wheels, if you're looking for a dedicated single speed performer, you''ve found it in these wheels.

American Classic disc hubs use stainless steel bearings, and a patented six pawl cam engagement on the rear hub for serious freehub strength. Laced using AC 14/15 gauge spokes, this wheelset is available with either 9mm QR or 15mm thru-axle front and 135 QR rear axles.
