Only fits Shimano 10sp 11-36t cassettes (XTR-M980, XT-M771 and SLX-HG81)
Requires removal of the 17t cog and spacer from an existing cassette
By using the optional Absolute Black lockring the 11t cog can be removed keeping the 17t cog. Lockring sold separately
Use of a long cage derailleur is recommended, generally, a medium cage will work, do not attempt to use a short cage while running the 40t cog
May require a longer 10sp chain
