• Only fits Shimano 10sp 11-36t cassettes (XTR-M980, XT-M771 and SLX-HG81)
• Requires removal of the 17t cog and spacer from existing cassette
• By using the optional Absolute Black lockring the 11t cog can be removed keeping the 17t cog. Lockring sold separately, use BTI # AI-4091
• Use of a long cage derailleur is recommended, generally a medium cage will work, do not attempt to use a short cage while running the 40t cog
• May require a longer 10sp chain
