Post Mount Facer

The Abbey Bike Tools Post Mount Facer is a precision brake-mount facing tool designed to correct and prep post mount disc brake bosses on frames and forks. By removing paint, powdercoat, overmolding, and minor surface irregularities, it helps the caliper sit square to the mount for cleaner alignment, more consistent pad contact, and fewer setup headaches during a brake install or service.

• Post Mount Facing Cutter - Cleans and faces brake bosses so the mounting surface is perpendicular to the threaded hole for accurate caliper positioning
• Shoulder-Bolt Pilot - Threads a ground shoulder bolt into the brake boss to guide the cut concentrically and reduce the chance of uneven facing
• Drill or Ratchet Driven - Spins the cutter around the pilot with a drill or ratchet for controlled, repeatable material removal
• Coating & Flash Removal - Strips paint and coating buildup that can cause caliper misalignment, rub, or inconsistent torque readings
