The Crossfire freewheel tool is designed to remove the ACS Crossfire freewheels. When ACS redesigned the Claws they changed the shape of the notch pattern to increase frame clearance, resulting in a new tool. The Crossfire tool is specific to ACS Crossfire freewheels and will not work with other models.

ACS Crossfire freewheels require this dedicated remover. Mine simply didn't fit, but was close.
A little Dremel grinding on the tool provided a tight, but workable fit.
Some people would not find this acceptable, and it does raise questions about the quality of the casting and machining.
