A GuestAfter reading reviews about this shirt and the sizing on other Gore cycling jerseys and jackets, I ordered a size Large. Gore products seem to run small. I'm 6 ft and 180 lbs. Large is a bit tight. The Windstopper fabric has almost no stretch; although, OK as a base layer. And, as a base layer, this works great! I wear it under a wool cycling jersey and it most definitely stops the wind penetrating and hitting my chest. The Windstopper fabric wrapping around to the kidney area is a good idea and much appreciated. Mesh back and underarms allows this to breathe well. I'm comfortable on descents and higher speeds down into 40 degree temps. Two things: I might buy this in a turtleneck to block the wind hitting my throat; and, while I haven't yet tried it, wearing another baselayer under this to increase warming during colder temps may be difficult due to its tight fit. You may have to wear another layer over the top--between the base and outer layer; or, buy the fleeced thermal version. Recommended. Plus, Tree Fort Bikes has this on sale at a VERY competitive price.
