A GuestI have not been on a long ride with it yet. However, it has been great on the 20-30 mile rides I have done. Good combination of firmness and padding. It's on the narrower side, which I prefer. All in all looks great and rides great.

A GuestI'm new to road cycling, bought a good, used bike with a hard, uncomfortable racing saddle. (Compared with the saddle on the hybrid I use for commuting.) I thought an expensive saddle might make a big difference. This one might be marginally more comfortable than the one it replaced, but it's still hard and uncomfortable. It's well made and probably everything a bike racer would want, but "comfort" is relative.

gelongoriaWith this saddle, I finally strayed from and retired my venerated Terry Fly Ti saddle. I really liked the Terry Fly as this was indeed my third one in 8 years. However with this last one, the leather was splitting after only about 18 months of use (the previous ones lasted over 3 years each) so seeing a drop in quality, I jumped ship (ironically knowing full well the Terry Fly is made by Selle Italia).
The Flite Gel Flow saddle looked really snazzy on my 7 y/o Specialized road bike. Perhaps too snazzy. 9 days after I put it on it, some punk decided to steal my locked up bike!
But I did managed to log a Tour de Cure (two days, 150 miles) on it first so can offer some feedback. 1) the saddle is reasonably light weight. If you're a racer boi, you'll opt for one of the other uberlight saddles out there. But for the rest of us normal folk, the design, padding and cut-out fit just right for me.
The one thing I didn't like was the saddle did creak under heavy load (I'm 250 lbs so understand I may be twice the man than some of you!) Under heavy acceleration or in the saddle climbing, I could hear and feel the rails flexing.
In all honesty, on my replacement bike, I will probably either go back to the Terry Fly or try something else since I abhor clicks, creaks and clanks on my bike. But after the loss of such a trusty companion, one whom I shared thousands of miles of pavement, I would give most anything to hear my saddle creak underneath me again.
