A GuestI've been using various Smith sunglasses for riding for about the past 10 years now and recently decided to go out on a limb and give these a try. First the pros:
-I really like how these glasses give you more eye protection without blocking your peripheral vision like some Smith glasses do.
-The vents do a great job preventing the lenses from fogging up (they will fog up if you're stopped, but once you begin moving again they clear up pretty fast).
-Priced under $60 they're nearly half the price of many other brands.
-Optic Nerve's method for swapping the lenses helps prevent you from scratching the lense when you pop them in and out unlike many Smith sunglasses. This comes in real handy if you've gotten mud or dirt on your lenses.
Cons:
-I don't know if it's just me, but on rides over 2 hrs they start to get a little uncomfortable where the frames rest on your ears.
-When interchaning the lenses it feels like you're going to snap the frame or break the lense. Not quite as easy as the Smith's I've worn in the past.
