I just bought some drop bars and put them on my hybrid so I needed some long pull levers. Someone suggested cane creeks drop-v's, they looked awesome but the price did not. So I came looking to Tree Fort and found what I needed for half the price which was great. They work great and look great and were easy to install.
I set these levers up on my new Midged drop bar 29er running Avid BB7 MT rotors and calipers and love them so far! I have not had a chance to see how they perform on the trail, but for my 3 mile commute they work great! After getting the caliper itself dialed in these levers provide great feel. Highly recommend them!
Poor design to bury the fixing bolt behind the installed brake wire, but you can still access by some combo of releasing the QR at the brake and or using a bondhus head wrench. Made the mistake of buying black, which I immediately scuffed. Still a good value compared to some others out there. And a more solid, Campy-esque feel too.
I have had these levers a week and already have a few hundred dirt miles on them. I am enjoying the added benefit of v-brakes and these levers are a great solution at a very reasonable price. They feel great and have been a great addition to my cyclo-cross bike. Nice quality and good looks!
Summed up: If you want v-brakes and drop bars, then look no further!
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

I converted my old GT Aggressor mountain bike into a single speed commuter for NYC. I am using bullhorn bars instead of the standard mountain bars. I initially tried bar-end brakes levers, but they are made for short pull brakes and during my first ride in the rain, I could not stop my bike! I installed these brake handles and they work really well with my v-brakes (no crashing into access-a-ride vans anymore!). They are cheaper than the Cane Creek ones too.
