I mounted these shoes on my TekTro R580 dual pivot road brakes. The orbital hardware makes is simple to align the shoes with the correct toe. This correct alignment allows maximum braking power, gives the brakes a much stronger feel and should maximize the life of the shoes. For reference, the stock shoes on the TekTro units have no adjustment which caused premature pad wear and yielded a less powerful brake. These are well worth the money.

I bought these to replace the brakes on my 86' Diamondback Viper (green with white parts). First, it looks good, but more importantly they work great! The mounting was so easy, they practically adjusted themselves all I had to do was put them on strait. Dry they stop me on a dime, wet they work even better!!
