Do I need to buy the MTX rack for this to work or does it work with other racks as well?
The Topeak MTX racks are designed with a unique mounting platform called QuickTrack; Topeak MTX baskets and bags are specifically designed to interface with those mounting platforms. While you may be able to rig this basket to any rack, without a Topeak MTX rack, this basket could not be mounted as designed by the manufacturer.
