apertomeThese work very well, they block wind as promised, also helpful in rain or snow. Sometimes sweat gets trapped a little bit, but not bad at all. There's always a tradeoff between insulation and holding moisture in.
The only downside is fit seems a little odd to me -- too long and maybe a little loose overall, but I think the next size down would be too tight. I normally wear L or XL, and ordered an XL in these.

A GuestI've been commuting by bike for 15 years in all types of weather conditions and these tights are the best. They are durable, comfortable and not too warm. In very cold weather, I wear a thin base layer under them and feel great. The price is right too.

A GuestThis is the second pair I've owned. The first pair lasted years. I use them for more than biking....especially going to the gym to work out.

A GuestI bought my first pair of these tights in 1998. Back then they came in mens x-small and being a 5'3" 125lbs woman they were perfect. They are my favorite ever for cold weather (for cycling, running and x-country skiing- even backcountry on sunny days)! They breath well but keep the wind out. I especially love that my knee's are kept warm (I have bad knees).
I was worried that I would not like the new ones as well and was bummed that they only came in mens small but I am getting used to them being a little big - the advantages totally out weigh any disadvantages. I don't know that bellweather makes these for woman but I like the sq. cut of the men's tight anyway (compared to the woman's windfront tight by Pearl Izumi, which are pricy and artificially curvy).
Lastly, these are a little warm as spring weather approaches but I unzip the ankle and fold them back over my calf to my knees when I get too warm.
Did I mention I love these tights?!
Basically, Bellweather has the best windproof front tight on the market for the price. Hands down. And based on my last pair, I know that they make quality gear that lasts, even with a lot of wear (12 years is a long time for a tight).

A GuestGreat pants for cold weather riding. Front material breaks wind great and material in rear of legs allow for proper venting. Knee sections keep your joints extra warm too. Bang for buck, you can't get much better.

FORSPADIThese tights worked extremely well for my mountain riding. I live in the northeast and mountain ride up to 3 inches of snow and the wind can get pretty bad at times.
These tights keep my legs warm and dry, they are very flexable, and I have great range of motion.
I only wish they had a zipper pocket for my ipod...other than that, I have no complaints.
Great tight for the price

aeoportaI call these the tank. I only put them on when it is biting cold outside for me that means 20f or more below with wind. These things definately get the job done and keep me super warm and toasty. These pants and then a few other thermals from walmart starter brand and of course polartec fabric layers coupled with wool socks and you have your winter snow fighting gear.
