my2handsI have Thomson seatposts on all of my bikes because they simply do not slip or sink, they're light, they last longer than you'll keep your bike, and they're really easy to adjust in regards to saddle angle. I have had other seatpost in the past, but none of them worked as well as Thomson. A cheap alternative is a Kalloy, but the saddle attachment is horrible compared to a Thomson.
I will say make sure, if buying the set back post, that you measure your desired saddle height correctly before purchasing. Because of the break, the seatpost will have a minimum height above your seatpost collar of 11 cm. You will not be able to lower the setback version any lower than that.
