Why a second tire lever? Because feedback from mechanics tells us that, like pizza, some like their tire levers thick and some like them thin. The new TL-2C is thinner and wider than the TL-1 and, therefore, it works differently. The TL-2C has more engagement with the bead of the tire so it can be "popped" off using just two levers. The TL-2C Tire Levers are very compact and lightweight, and because you only need two, they're perfect for stashing in a jersey pocket or in the tight confines of a seat pack.
