Did a lot of research on tires before going with these. These are awesome tires for the areas that I ride most frequently(Northern Nevada/Tahoe Area). A lot of which is sand/dirt over hardpack, and also really rocky. I had some Wolverines prior to this, and they were horrible in the corners, and wouldn't dig in as much in the climbs. These Prowlers solved those two problems greatly! They feel a little slower in the flats, but the speed they allow you to feel comfortable carrying in the corners makes up for it.
