We spend extra time and care building, testing and re-boxing your bike before it leaves. This takes approximately 5 business days beyond the ship date shown on this page.
This extra step and time allows us to ensure that when your bike arrives to you it will be very easy to assemble for most anyone. Most bikes do not include pedals, so make sure to choose some for your new bike so we can ship them in the same box and you can get our riding quicker!The evolution of carrying gear on bikes has reached it's optimal state if you ask the folks at Surly. The new Surly Pack Rat is the culmination of years of experience and is designed around using porter-type front loading bicycle racks. There are many obvious benefits to keeping your gear in the front including better weight distribution, it is closer to your hands, and gives the rider more control. Not every bike is made to be an efficient front loader, but the Pack Rat is built from the ground up with this in mind. The Pack Rat has two different wheel sizes depending on the frame size you need. You have 26'''' wheels on the smaller sizes, and 650b on the larger.
