We spend extra time and care building, testing and re-boxing your bike before it leaves. This takes approximately 4 business days to prepare the shippment.
This extra step and time allows us to ensure that when your bike arrives to you it will be very easy to assemble for most anyone. Most bikes do not include pedals, so make sure to choose some for your new bike so we can ship them in the same box and you can get our riding quicker!**Bicycle shows light previous wear, has been cleaned and tuned. The
Woodsmoke is not only a new bike for
Salsa but is also a new take on the tried and true hardtail. The
Woodsmoke's carbon frame is capable of running 29plus, 27.5plus and traditional 29er wheels. The responsive geometry has some of the shortest stays out there (between 400-417mm depending on the wheel size), shorter than some road bikes. The top-tube is longer than a traditional hardtail and is designed to be paired with a short stem and wide handlebar for quick responsive handling.
Woodsmoke can be used with front suspension forks ranging from 100-140mm or Salsa''s Firestarter Rigid Fork if you are looking to take the Woodsmoke on extended adventures.
The
Woodsmoke 27.5plus GX1 build includes a Rock Shox Yari RC suspension fork with 120mm of travel, SRAM GX1 1x11 drivetrain with 11-42t cassette and 32t X-Sync from chainring. For brakes Salsa specs SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors.

Salsa Boost hubs laced to Whisky No. 05 50mm rims and include WTB Ranger 27.5x3.0" tires with lightweight casing and tubeless ready bead.
