I'm slowly collecting tools and learning to do basic maintenance to my road bike. This time around I replaced my chain and cassette. Piece of cake with this tool. Well-made and I'm sure will last forever. I first tried to remove the cassette by wrapping an old towel around the cogs, as many blogs have indicated. I couldn't budge it, but the chainwhip produced instant results. I'll probably make a habit of replacing the cassette each spring, given the low cost of doing it yourself.
