The deep toe clip works great for me. I use mountain bike type shoes and the deep clip allows very easy exit and most of the time an easy entry. I highly recommend these clips.

Sturdy, good looking toeclips.
I ordered them in order to use winter boots without the cost of winter riding-specific shoes.
They fit moderately bulky 9.5 boots.
