timothyrexGreat panniers for the money. I went back and forth on whether I would spend more on Ortlieb or Arkel and I decided to pick up the Axiom Typhoon and Monsoon sets for about the cost of a single pair of Ortlieb panniers.
I used these on a 4 day camping trip. They mounted firmly and didn't bounce around. They held a lot of gear and clothing, but I didn't use the zippered outside pockets. I heard rumors of the zippers being a little weak, so I didn't care to try them on my first trip out with them.
They feel solid and I think they'll hold up to regular use. One or two would be great for the daily commuter as well, especially during bad weather. I encountered a little rain during my camping trip and went through a massive downpour on the way back. Everything inside these bags stayed totally dry.
I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good deal on waterproof panniers.
My only complaint as someone else mentioned was the lack of a locking mechanism on the bags. Other than that, they're great. Also come with spare hardware for mounting if a piece wears out!

zachmullThese bags are an amazing value at Tree Fort, and they're perfect for my commute. They hold a lot without being outrageously bulky, they're easy to mount, they're made from heavy duty materials, and they're waterproof. They're made like a dry bag so there aren't a lot of separate pockets and containers, but that works well for me. The only problem I have with them is that occasionally the hooks get stuck in each other when I'm carrying the bags off of the bike, but that's easy to prevent now that I know it can happen.

fmaysonSturdy stuff for the price. The single pocket design is a little limiting at times but they are reliably waterproof when securely closed. Included Xtra hardware is a plus. Could be more securely mounted at times.
