Avid has re-vamped their XX disc brakes for 2012 with improvements that make them easier to use and maintain to ensure consistent performance in a feathery package. Forged magnesium calipers and lever bodies are lightweight as well as stiff. A new and improved bladder design makes for easier bleeding that results in improved performance, and its TaperBore Technology makes for elegant design. With adjustable reach and contact points, you can easily dial in your levers to ensure comfort that makes achieving impeccable braking performance no problem even as fatigue sets in at the end of the race. Avid has worked hard to make sure XX is well deserving of its place at the top of the line, and they do not disappoint.
