questions about the

Axiom Fatliner FatBike Rear Rack

asked by: A Visitor
Will this fit on a felt double DD70 fat bike frame size small?
answered by: canteau
It should as long as the small frame has rack mounts like the larger models it should.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this rack fit a huffy fortress
answered by: canteau
The Huffy Fortress most likely uses a standard rack if it has rack mounts. If you are local bring it by and we can help you select a rack that will fit it properly.
asked by: A Visitor
Will it fit my 2016 KONA WO with 4.8 inch tires front and back
answered by: canteau
The photos on Kona's website show rack mounts so it should mount up without any issues, but it might not be a bad idea to check with a Kona Dealer.
asked by: mbl...@co....net
Will rack fit on 2016 SE F@E (without rack eyelets) and disc brakes?
answered by: canteau
If the bike uses a quick release it might depending on the shape of the dropout, you may also need to fit a longer skewer to accommodate the rack feet if you are trying to mount it to the dropouts. A seatpost mounted rack might be a better option.
asked by: annieclausen
I know an axiom fat liner won't fit momentum iride. What if I permanently remove kicks
answered by: canteau
If you remove the kickstand the Fatliner rear rack should the iRide, because there are upper and lower rack mounts.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this rack hold a Mongoose Dolomite Fat Tire bike?
answered by: canteau
It doesn't look like the Mongoose Dolomite has rack mounts from the photos of the bike shown online. Sometimes the actual bike has them, but the are Photoshopped out in the catalog like the valve stems for a cleaner look. If the bike has rack mounts it should work, if not a seatpost mounted rack might be your best option.
asked by: A Visitor
Would this fit the Surly Wednesday? The Surly Wednesday spacing is 170mm which should be ok
answered by: canteau
Yes, the Axiom Fatliner should work with the Surly Wednesday.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this rack fit a Charge Cooker fat bike?
answered by: canteau
The current Charge Cooker Maxi includes rack mounts so it should be compatible. If you have an older model, you will want to double check that it has braze-ons for a rack. If it does you should be good to go.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this rack fit the Raleigh Rumson
answered by: canteau
Raleigh's photos of the Rumson do not show rack mounts which may be reality or an over zealous photoshop artist. If it does have rack mounts you should be good to go if not it won't work.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this fit a bullseye fat tire bike?
answered by: canteau
Bikes direct lists the frame as having rack mounts, so provided that this is correct it should work.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this rack fit a 2013 Salsa Mukluk?
answered by: canteau
It will not because of the Alternator dropouts. The Salsa 170mm Alternator Rear Rack is the only one that will work:

asked by: A Visitor
Will this fit a mongoose beast?
answered by: canteau
From the photos it does not look like the Mongoose Beast includes rack mounts for the Axiom Fatliner rack to mount to. A seatpost mount rear rack might be your best option.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this rack fit the Specialized Fatboy Expert fat bike?
answered by: canteau
Judging by the photos on Specialized website, it looks like the alloy frame FatBoy models have rack mounts which should work fine with this rack.

The carbon frame does not appear to have rack mounts, but that might be a result of Photoshop. If the photos are accurate you will not be able to run this rack on carbon frames.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this fit a Fuji Wendigo 1.1?
answered by: canteau
The photos on Fuji's website make the Wendigo 1.1 appear to not have rack mounts, if this is the case you may not be able to run the Fatliner rear rack.

If the bike has rack mounts and they have just been Photoshopped out of the product image you should be good to go!
asked by: A Visitor
Will this fit a Norco Big Foot fatbike?
answered by: canteau
Looking at the mounting points on Norco's website, the Axiom Fatliner rack should fit the Bigfoot.
asked by: A Visitor
Will this fit a Surly Pugsley?
answered by: canteau
The Axiom Fatliner is designed to fit bikes with a symmetrical rear spacing of 170/190mm wide. The Surly Pugsley bottom rack mounts are spaced like a traditional 135mm mountain bike and not like a newer fatbike such as the Wednesday.

You would need to come up with some sort of spacers to fit the Fatliner rack to your Pugsley, so it will not be a stock fit.

Surly does have a write up on putting racks on Pugsley or Moonlander fatbikes which can be found here:

Hi,
Will this rack fit a 2015 9 Zero 7 aluminum frame Whiteout?
answered by: cjsears
From the information 9:ZERO:7 has provided it does not look like it will work, your frame needs either a quick release skewer or rack eyelets. Thanks
asked by: A Visitor
Will it fit on the Sondors Fat tire bike?
answered by: mwirth
I don't think this rack would work on the Sondors. Although we have not had one in the shop to try it on. Thanks!
asked by: A Visitor
will this fit a momentum Rocker?
answered by: t.young
Given the location of the disc brake and the rear kickstand, probably not. Thanks!
asked by: A Visitor
Will it fit the ice cream truck ops
answered by: t.young
Given the location of the braze ons on the seatstays, I don't think it'd work. Thank you!
asked by: A Visitor
