jdelmanzoI finally actually rode with these shoes after trying 4/5 times to heat mold them. I must say that how they feel when worn in the living room is different than how they feel when riding. I could never get them to feel 100% comfortable and was worried about riding with them and voiding the possibility to return them. The problem I experienced with molding them was in regards to the "tub-shape" of the sole. I could not actually push them out to get rid of the hot-spots on the side of my foot. My foot was always pushed up against the sides. I tried numerous times to push them out with the round end of a screw driver (per instructions), without much luck. If you have wider feet (I don't particularly), then be careful because you probably will not be able to address the width of these shoes.
As for actually riding with these shoes, they felt pretty darn good. I guess because my foot was not spread so much without them needing to support my body-weight when seated. They are stiff and have a low stack-height. I had to drop my saddle a hair. I am rating them a 3 because I don't believe the carbon foot bed is really very heat moldable as advertised.
