asked by: a guest I have a 2016 specialized camber comp 650b, what will i need to install this single ring?
A.
anwered by: canteau If your bike came with the 2x 104BCD SRAM/Specialized crankset this ring should mount right up using the existing chainring bolts. If it came with a triple you will need a set of single speed chainring bolts.

asked by: a guest I have a giant atx mtb, would this work for my bike?
A.
anwered by: canteau You would need to do some modifications to the drivetrain for the Race Face Narrow-Wide chainring to work.
The Giant ATX uses a crankset with riveted chainrings and a 7-speed drivetrain. The cranks would need to be changed out to one that accepts a 104 BCD chainring.
You may also have issues of keeping the proper chain tension because of the tension spring used in a 7-speed derailleur which is much weaker than a 10 or 11-speed model.

Pretty purple and holds chains on exquisitely. Very much worth the money and I usually don't have to install shorter bolts because of the short recession in the thick ring body. Others experience could vary however.
