Racktime
Addit Universal Rear Mount Rack
The German-based
Racktime designs smart, lightweight alloy transport systems for the everyday commuter and beyond. The
Addit is the "carriage horse" of
Racktime's rear rack line. A primary top rail and lower, secondary rail allows for multiple mounting positions for panniers: The lower position is ideal for heavier loads that perform best with a lowered centre of gravity, and the higher position can be used for lighter or more relaxed loads. This design also permits greater heel clearance. Both panniers and top trunk bags can be easily mounted to the
Addit. Hang any standard pannier from the side rails of the rack, and consider a
Racktime trunk bag to easily snap into the SNAPit system at the top of the rack. The
Addit -- a Eurobike award winner -- will certainly get the job done with grace and style. Check out
Racktime''s short video on the SNAPit system for more information:

Yes, the RackTime Add-it rear rack will fit fenders up to 65mm wide. You can find a technical drawing of the Addit here which will give you the exact measurements of the rack.

A GuestVery nice economical rack. Nice extra rail to mount panniers. Works great with Ortlieb Backpacker Classic. Weight limit up to 66 pounds. Not quite as strong as Tubus but better design.

A GuestThis is a nice quality rack that is a solid performer and looks good too. I installed this on a Catrike Expedition fairly easily. The included rack stay bars are plenty long enough to reach the trike seat rail. I actually had to cut them down to fit. You will need to acquire a couple bar clamps to make the attachment to the seat rail. I found another online bike shop in WI that specifically has a kit for this. Search "Catrike Kit".
As for Tree Fort Bikes, I would definitely buy from them again because of the price match and they ship very quickly.

A GuestI'm the person that ask at the top of this review page for the Racktime Addit rack if it would fit a Surly Ogre with Planted Bike 29ER X 65mm fenders. No worry folks, it works GREAT!
The mounting bracket where it mounts above the sliding dropout on the Surly Ogre is a little too thick to use both mounting eyelets on the Ogre. That just makes the rack that much stronger. The rack comes with screws long enough to use the same eyelet for the rack and the rear fender. Like the first reviewer said. This rack has the lower bar for mounting your panniers lower. You would think it's made just for the Surly Ogre.
